Air must be compressed to be used as an energy source.
It is compressed by reciprocal or rotary machines, compressors which draw in ambient air, compress it and propel it through pipes.
Compressed air is used in industrial and automotive applications, generally at pressures of less than 10 bar.
To make effective use of this energy source a minimum of basic knowledge is required.
This introduction is essential to understanding constraints in using compressed air and safely obtaining good quality work.

Air network diagrams
The design of a compressed air network depends on the workshop configuration and the volume of compressed air used by the operators.
The design must take account of general rules to ensure personnel safety, continuity of manufacturing, long service life, easy and cost-effective maintenance.
Prevost can study your facility and draw up a plan including all parts needed for implementation.
